Snapped Edges, sizing

The feature either doesn't work or I'd like to sugget it to be added

Hi everyone,  I can't get the "Keep Fences sized to even multiples of icons ..." feature to work.  When I resize the edges of my fences, they'll resize to where ever I drag the edge to.  I've checked the box and unchecked it but this seems to have no effect on fences resizing.

I'm using both fences and folder portals and I have to overlay my fences on top of each other just to make sure they're the same size.

I'm on windows 8.1

If this is not the intended use of this feature, I'd like to formally request this.  Maybe allow the user to set the width & height manually?  Maybe by having a setting, "Keep edges sized to multiples of ______ pixels?

I am having the same issue on both my computers (work/home this should be EULA OK) One is Windows 7 and the other is Windows 8.1. I got the program to feed my OCD and this size uneven thing is driving me crazy. |-)

Any help for Kerry and I?

I'm going to place a ticket in the internal system for you regarding this feature. Thank you for bringing it to our attention.

Ye, the snapping mechanics of both fence placement and fence sizing is nuts.

Should be:

1. User definable grid for placement and resize of fences that works, I some how seem to manage to get it to vary the fence snapping by resizing and moving a fence (at present I have 3 fences stacked on my left monitor looks like a 5 to 8 pixel gap and on my right monitor I have 2 fences stacked and it looks like a 10 to 12 pixel gap - same monitor & same screen resolution lol)

2. Resize to icon size which snaps to double text line default or bug and create scroll bars for no reason

3. Allow user to manually input x and y position of fence and width and height of fence for all those pixel perfect fans (like me). I've got 3 fences stacked (all same width or rather should be) on my main screen and each is different width and was resized with snap to icon size on... Awesome programming lol

and then some...
