Losing skin defined system colors after "sleep"

I have noticed that when I wake up my laptop after sleep (close lid), I have lost the background color and hotlink color in some dialogs. Here is a screeny of the issue:

On the left is what it should (and does) look like on fresh apply of the skin. On the right is after waking up from sleep.

Running Windows 8.1 with Start8

Not seeing this on my Windows 8 rig.

Thanks, Jim. Going to do a total reboot to see how it is after startup.

Everything is good after a reboot.

After sleep/hibernate/log off user, the "skin defined system colors" are not being applied.

I think it's probably best to start a support ticket at this point.

I submitted a ticket regarding this issue (linking to this post also to save time as I have outlined the issue here with pictures) and followed the instructions provided by support (download a thingy to gather info about my computer) then heard nothing for 5 days.

I went back to work (I work out at sea and am without internet for longish periods of time) and meanwhile my ticket was closed after not replying within 72 hrs.

Too bad that I'm expected to wait for 5 days before receiving a reply, but support closes the case after 3 days of not hearing anything.

Doubtful that I'll be resubmitting a ticket on this issue given that I cannot guarantee that I can reply before my ticket is closed again.
