concerns about 1.44 Beta & re-activation

I downloaded & installed the new v1.44 Beta (with the "New activation and trial mechanism") on my own machine, and it prompted me to re-enter my product key to activate. No problem.

My concern is this: I'm a computer consultant and over the last 18 months or so, I've purchased several dozen separate Start8 licenses (under my own account) and installed them on various clients' systems. I'm worried that once this beta hits general release, I'm going to have to walk several dozen non-computer-savvy clients through the process of re-entering their Start8 product keys. Yikes. This could mean a LOT of unnecessary service calls on my part.

Please tell me that before this beta goes into general release you're going to change the installation routine so that it doesn't require re-entering the existing product key!

I think it should be capable of handling it automatically, but I will make sure that's checked before formal release.

This issue has been fixed, please make sure you have downloaded the beta after Wednesday for the change.

I installed the new Beta on a different system with v1.41, and it did not prompt me to re-enter the activation code.
