Let Windows 8.1 manage the Lockscreen option.

I bought the software to add new features not to disable new ones.

I must tell you I was happy as a kid on its birthday morning when I bought this software.

I had Windows 8 by the time, and it did more than what I expected. Without being a part of the company I start selling it to my friends and family with Windows 8, that was how happy I was. The ones who bought it agree a hundred percent with me.

But, now that I have Windows 8.1 it saddens me profoundly the fact that I initially bought a software to add new features and now I have bought a software that disables new features for me.

Don't get me wrong, I was astounded with the fact that I could put any image in the boring Windows 8 Lockscreen. But let's face it, at the end wasn't the big deal since when you got tired of the image you should manually change it for a new one. That was in every way ok with me.

Now, Windows 8.1 has a feature of displaying a slideshow of any folder you have in your Lockscreen. And please accept it, that's way cooler than placing one image at the time and having to change it manually.

I don't want to ask you to put this feature in Decor8 (why making a wheel if it's already done?, right?) but I will ask you to please include in the next update of Decor8 an option that says something like "Let windows manage the Lockscreen" and let it, because I have seen the slide show in the Lockscreen and it's awesome! it has effects like zooming in and out the images, placing two images side by side, etc.

I hope to heard from you soon, and I know I'm not the only one with this request.

If you pick a setting in the OS for the lockscreen it should override the one set by Decor8.

All Decor8 does it ask the OS to use the image like setting a wallpaper.  It does not do anything else for the lockscreen.

Well, I'm tired of telling windows l want the Lockscreen slide presentation and when it's time to go to the lockscreen guess what? it is the decor8 one ALWAYS

 

Even though I've tried to deselect any folder or file from the lockscreen option in decor 8 it keeps showing me the lockscreen for decor 8.

 

and also sets off the show slide presentation in lockscreen option in windows

 

So... been there, done that!!

 

Any other suggestions?

By the way, I forgot to mention that if I unistall Decor8 the show slide presentation in the lockscreen in windows works flawlessly!

I'm still trying to accomplish this, I'm my last attempt I realize that in Decor8 in the background and lockscreen options the buttons to select folder or file are the same... I mean, I went to the lockscreen section and try to let it without any image selected to place at the lockscreen hoping windows will finally kick in with his slide show presentation of the folder I use, but....... when I deselect all the folders and files in the lockscreen section of decor8 it also deselects me all folders and files for the background section.... which I do not want

Still hoping you can fix this, it is pretty lame to have paid for a software to enhance my OS and add nonexistent features to it and at the end having the same software preventing you from using new features of the OS
