objectdock with a neXTos look

Try downloading the next iconpackage and using icons from that with your dock. John Folden did a great job on the ones that I use.

yeah, i've been using those off and on...it's one of the first things i tried...

what i want is probably do-able via objectbar or desktopX...i haven't had the time to devote to my limited artistic skills there

Actually, I've had a NeXT style Dock and menu system mostly completed for ObjectBar for over a year now. (sheepish grin)

Since moving to Macs to run OPENSTEP v6 (Mac OS X, in other words) I keep selling my Windows system everytime I build one up and have never finished it. Now that ObjectDock is finally out and looking good maybe I'll see what I can come up with, including some nice NeXT icons for XP.


OTOH, I hope my ObjectDesktop subscription hasn't expired yet.

Hey JT what is up with Nexus? wasn't that suppost to be an NEXT style warf?

Actually, I have NO IDEA what's going on with NeXus as I haven't been involved with Winstep since the early Spring of 2001. So you'll have to direct that question over to them now...
