Running into a bit of a problem

I've recently started having some issues with Fences.

The way I have my desktop set up is some fences are permanently visible, others I like to keep hidden along with other loose shortcuts/files I haven't put away yet. This used to work fine, but some time ago I started running into the following issue: right-clicking anywhere onto the empty desktop will cause a 'glitch' where all my hidden icons will show up again, including the ones hidden in fences. A note here, the fence graphics themselves stay hidden until I double click the desktop to show them. If I try to hide them again, only the fence graphics will turn invisible, the icons remain.

I can temporarily restore it to a working state by restarting windows explorer, however if I right click anywhere the problem instantly reappears.

Specs that might play a role:

Windows 8.1, Fences 2.12, Start8 1.41, ModernMix 1.15, WindowBlinds 8 8.05, and multiple monitors. Can provide further system hardware/software specs if required.
