Thank you so very much for creating this update! The "Fix for blank desktop on logon with optional May KB2955164 update (you can hold Ctrl while logging on to bypass WB)" was exactly what I needed. The blank screen after applying that optional update, had me totally baffled. Again, many thanks!

Object Desktop Manager says that WB 8.05 is installed, but when I hover over the WB icon in the system tray, it says WB 8.04 is installed.

Uninstall WB 8.04,  run CCleaner and reboot. Open Objectdesktop Manager and then re-install WB 8.05, reboot. That should do it.

Did the install prompt for a reboot and if so did you reboot?

I was prompted and did reboot. However, after reading your response, I rebooted again. ODM still reports 8.05 installed, WB reports 8.04 installed.

Thanks for not bothering to fix the issue with Firefox, of course I could have just replied to your support agent but that was a waste of time

I would uninstall WB, reboot and then reinstall WB.

For some reason the files which are locked are not being replaced on reboot for you.

Hello. The program suggested to download the new version WindowBlinds_8.05_setup_sd. Now I can't establish.
"Previous version found. Please uninstall WindowBlinds 7.x and REBOOT before proceeding with the new installation. The install will now exit.ОК".The old version was WindowBlinds_8.04_setup_sd,I removed it.I cleaned system and I rebooted. How to establish?Windows 8.1

The problem is solved! The file of the program should be shifted to an external disk USB and to establish. From a desktop the program isn't installed.

Will it be possible to skin the Windows 8 Explorer Ribbon in the future? Or is this just me not using the right skins??

skinstudio 8 'start menu animation builder' consumes up to 71-80% cpu usage,i don't know what's the problem and why.if its normal well no problem.

Updated to 8.0.5 from 8.0.5 beta.

My taskbar locks up a lot. 8.0.5 beta doesn't have this problem

Windows 8.1. Doesn't matter if I have start8 installed or not. within 15 minutes of use I can no longer minimize/ maximize apps. Right click on the bar or have the start menu respond to interaction.

very odd. I'm sure I won't be the only one reporting this.
