Many many many many many moons ago I has a idea (don't remember if I got the idea from what someone here said or not) to come up with a bi-yearly report on the state of the skinning community and digital artists (it was supposed to be timed with the GUI Olympics aka whatever it is called since the Olympics actually notified Stardock to stop calling it 'Olympics")
Life got in the way and as far as I got was maybe like 200+ artists featured but I never published it. I also had a front/first page rendering (if I can find the original image, I'll post it... I do have a link to what I think is an older image: https://www.flickr.com/photos/esourcemagazine/376059352/in/photostream/ ) of featured work that if you clicked on the work, you would see what they did, where to download or buy whatever and any review or history of the work.
The Art and Skin Report would have:
- Skinners of all types from all sites
- Wallpaper makers
- Digital art
- Interviews and reviews of selected works (all positive reviews... no need for "I hate this art piece")
- Small section on photography
- Possibly special addition skins
- Possible a saved favorites links to classic and popular works.
- Featured skinners websites (if any) or skinning business sites (if any).
Anybody have any suggestions as to what artist should be shown or what works high-lighted? Post it here.
Thanks for the help!

PS
Man I was pretty crazy back then... I even had a "reporter/host" called DavidLove. I forget what program I was going to use to make this DavidLove character. I think it was a virtual character; just don't remember where. I might try that again lol
Oh and anybody know where Skinner Treetog is? I need permission to try to update a DesktopX (yes I know DesktopX has been decommissioned... man i had so many ideas for that but got to busy to do anything) called "Plava" and maybe port it to ObjectDock, Systmetrix or Rainmeter (or something).
PPS
Most likely I won't be able to finish this project till like next year but it could be possible I can get it done sooner if I have some help. Volunteers anyone?
