IE skins

as with everyone here i get great pleasure out of customising the skins on my computer - and they don't come much better than windowblinds I do have one small problem however. I also have a prog that skins IE and OE (like hotbar). On some skins - eg 'copperdeck 2' and 'nightshade' - the IE/OE skin works fine but on many other windowblinds eg 'forma' the IE/OE skin gets blocked out. I have tried experimenting with skin studio but to no avail. Any ideas anyone?

yeah... that happens... I tried running hotbar with Window Blinds a long time ago... what stardock does have is their own program that skins window blinds... it's called WebBlinds... it's free with the component manager... or like 10 bucks from stardocks web site... or you can try another browser... that's already skinnable like neoplanet... (it's really just a shell over internet explorer so you won't lose any functionality) but unfortuantly you are just gonna keep having the same problem....

Ok. the skinning program isn't 'Hotbar', but allows for wallpapers to be used on IE/OE and WE, in much the same way as hotbar(the prog is changer XP). I have tried web blinds but it does not seem to have a facility for changing the program menu bar wallpaper. The fact that some skins allow for the XP changer wallpapers to show (like copperdeck 2) whilst many don't, tells me that it may be possibly be a system setting within the skins themselves. what that is.. i don't know

indeed hotbar does use monitoring software monty, which is why i choose not to use it. however i do like the option of being able to wallpaper the IE/OE and winxplore toolbars as well as the windowblinds. to be frank i find being able to change the toolbar icons or the throbbers with web blinds incidental changes i can do without.
