i installed window fx 5.1 on windows 8.1 32 bit .it installed perfecctly.but animations doesnt working.besides my laptops seems laggy.whats the problem?can anyone help me?

Wanted to install 5.15 today. Says I have to uninstall old version first, then reboot then install (and I bet reboot again) ??? Welcome to the 90s...

Stopping the Service doesn't help btw. Re-Installing 5.12. worked though.
