Serial Key - Sins of a Solar Empire: Trinity (Problem!)

Well hello people, this is my second post, with another problem.

 

I've lost my serial key. Now, I bought the retail version of trinity from EB Games about, 2 years ago, but never had internet to update it, which didn't concern me much. Though now I have a better laptop, and net, and some game problems with Diplomacy (minidumps at half way through matches with Hard AI) I wan't to update. Problem is, since I'm moving houses about now, I seemed to have chucked out my Trinity manual, which had my serial key on the back D:

Yes, I have a legit copy of Sins: Trinity and I would really like to be able to update it. Is there anyway I can prove I have a legitimate copy of the game so Stardock can send me a new key? Or is there another way I can get a key.

 

Please help! I don't really wan't to buy another copy of the game.

Sent. Will the tool prove I have a legit copy or something similar? Also, I don't recall activating the game before, but I might have.

I have the same problem, but me, when I use my CD key for play with Trinity on Steam, Stardock say that my key belong to other account...
