Togetherness

metalltech

From the start this project seemed doomed!

Animosity, arguments, hurt feelings, every direction that it went seemed blocked, then:

Sydneysiders came to the rescue with a new idea! A new, but somewhat slow getting a foothold idea, Feature a new skinners work with this project.

You saved this project, keeping positive and offering so much of your time for the project.

Organizing skins, who is making what, although at times that was difficult because we did not even know what we were making, lol, posting page after page of information on the project,. Updates , links, you name it. Thank you for saving the project and pulling us together to accomplish a common goal, could not have been done without you SYDNEYSIDER'S!THE SHINING EXAMPLE OF A COMMUNITY MEMBER WORKING HARD FOR THE INTEREST OF ALL.

And the rest of you, GREAT JOB! 5* 5* :D :*

awww..... that's very sweet of you DT......

I had an idea.... I pointed in the direction.... but it all succeeded so well because.... THE WHOLE TEAM WAS....

some serious skinning....some great camaraderie, punctuated with some light-hearted entertainment...  ( :-"    )      ....that's what it's all about.... first of many I hope...  not only do we end up with great looking suites.... but senior skinners passing on skinning knowledge to newcomers to expand their skills and make it even more fun...

and thanks to bleumart for making this project possible.... and coming along for the ride...   :sun:

Okay....now that this Suite is nearing completion I suggest we all sit back, toss a few beers down, pick up our crayons and say..."Good job crayons" and lay them gently in their respective holders to re-energize. Once they're up to full power again its......back to work!

Maybe the next one could be about the Solstice, perhaps the summer one?

The thank you goes to you all.  I'm glad it turned out successful and looks great.  I'd like to see the community do at least 2 or 3 of these a year.  I think they are a great way to get everyone involved.

I'm glad you highlighted the blind as 'skin of the week'... ;)

it's a great idea to spot and spotlight a little gem... :)

think we have a good template for that now.... and if a windowblinds skinner isn't available for the creation...a good idea to just pick a promising up and comer and highlight them... or a ready made blind design that really lends itself to accessorising..... and have others learn new programs....  Dave did a great job sharing Rainlendar knowledge and a tut to boot..... and I believe Uvah will be teaching DT SMX at some stage... need some more of that... and it's good for windowblind skinners to be able to do their own blind accessories too... increases their appeal...

I'm sure teddy will be there with the cheerleaders too...  so it can't miss....

I have an smx almost ready to go. Its called Multipurpose because it shows what an smx can do, albeit in a limited fashion, not like a DX. Anyway...I'll also make the psd available for anyone who wants to play with it. DT...that means you. Okay...okay. :)
