I would have thought LH would run ok with that.

Options to disable would be the Character & Other Outlines, Pedestrians, Dynamic Shadows.  Turn off Anti Aliasing.

Under Advanced set Groundcover  to None.  Maybe turn off Styalizede Lighting.

Playing zoomed out to the cloth map as much as possible in strategic mode would also help probably.

What about map texture atlas size's should set that to anything? The only thing is ambinet light/brightness/contrast settings they kinda got moved around. And don't know what settings they should be on default. I turn off everything except particles for spell animations, it runs good but on larger maps it takes awhile i don't know if that's normal. Plus somtimes if my settings are not set right i get this ray of light in tactial battles that follows the mouse cursor tried changing cursor type but nothing happend. So i've just been confused as to what to do with map texture atlas, and would clothe map make it easier to play? I have the game set to low resolution as well the lowest setting actually.

End of abob101's quote

Advanced Options - Cloth map zoom level. I set it to 86. It  really helps on large maps.

I made a tile detail reduction mod a while ago.  It should still work.  It cuts out a lot of details that you can't see without zooming in a lot, but are being rendered anyway, therefore improving performance without a real aesthetic loss (unless you play really zoomed in).

setting clothe map to 86 improved game play some how. so right now its on turn 200 and doing ok, I think the only thing i'm trying to figure out is what to do with the map atlas texture? (Which setting to put it on with my graphic's card not be great i don't weather to try to increase the perforce with map atlas or to just leave it. I still get rays of light every now and then not sure if thats cause stylied lighting is off or its just that way. But it's running good now. But you have any other advice that might help would much like to hear it. Thanks for being really helpful too. Plus thinking about using the mod, just to sure yet what everyone thinks about it. Mainly can't wait to try the next installment. :D

Ok i got it to finally work, took a long time, but it runs quite nice with no problems.

the map atlas needs to be set on it lowest setting, as well as everything else of course, mainly cause of my graphics cards being really weak 256 mb decaded memory, but it runs.

Next I had to turn on clothe map, set to 86, threshhold.

un check highlight space option in advance options, and some other stuff.

This is prolly the best settings for performance if i could upload my settings to show people i would. If someone needs me to i will. But i think its at max performance. Without the low res mod.

Thanks for all your help.
