'Toy cars'

As we get 'older' we tend to come across real cars....versus kiddies' speed racers aka cop bait/hoon cars.

This is one I sat in tonight....

Again I don't 'fit' ...it's designed to suit a 6'6" type...so I couldn't reach the pedals....

The other one I couldn't fit into was a D-Type Jaguar replica ... my knees hit the dashboard.

Dang it....I want one that fits!

BTW the Jag owner is building a Daytona Cobra....and I might just be able to fit into/drive that one...;)

This GT40 is a replica....if it was an original it'd be valued in the millions - plural.  As it is it's probably the most valuable car I've had my 'hands on' other than the odd Formula One over the years...;)

Congrats on getting a sit at least. The GT40 was and still is an amazing automobile. Replica or not, I'm sure it was a real thrill. (and I'm not even a Ford fan)

Was a thrill alright...and the '40' stands for 40 inches...3"4" tall ....getting into it was...an experience...;)

End of DrJBHL's quote

I treated it as if it was original....eg...you hide all those sharp objects...like keys...before you get into it....and you take the owner's advice on how you grab hold to get in, etc...;)
