** Start8 Windows Logo button **

Hello!

 

I'm using Start8 in my Windows 8.1 and is very stable and my productivity is better too.

So, I would make suggestion for future versions: Why Start8 not use the default Windows 8.1 Start Menu logo? I see that in all Start8 logos not have a simple animation when mouse hover in button! It show only 3 states: No mouse, mouse hover and mouse click. In default Windows 8 logo, I see a little animation in blue logo when mouse hover in button!!

In futures version, please fix traductions in:


" Windows key shows Windows 8 menu unless docked "

" Windows key shows Start8 Menu unless i n tablet mode "

It's showed in ENGLISH only!!

Start8 used to use the Windows 8 flag icon but Microsoft was not too keen on that. Although not quite the same as you are looking for, some users have made the flag style button available on WinCustomize: https://www.wincustomize.com/explore/start8_buttons/169/

Yes, I understand!

But, for exemple: the original Windows 8.1 Logo is different. When mouse hover in logo, a little white animation is showed and the logo change the color when I customize the Metro colors (highlighted color)!

I wish the Start8 would use the original logo from Microsoft that comes with Windows 8.1 (taskbar) instead of using skins. It could work well as an option.
I do not know if you understand what I mean.

Windows 8.1 already has the Start button on the taskbar, so we click on it and open the Metro screen. This button could be used by Start8, since it has the same function! Alternately, could use the default Start button or the custom of Start8!

Well, this is just a suggestion. Would not know whether to do it.
Anyway, the software is great and is helping me a lot! It was a good investment. It will soon buy the ObjectDock, in which I am using for free for 30 days!

As mentioned above, unfortunately Microsoft are very sensitive about the use of their flag to the extent that they may take action if you even repurpose the existing button.

Now I understood what he meant! There was not comprehended!

Microsoft does not authorize the use of its logo on a third-party program.

No problems!!
