renaming still not working

Previously posted here as well by others. Not solved, nor commented upon by Stardock.

 

@Stardock: renaming a shortcut on a tile is not working for me either. The name changes back to (only) the FIRST letter of the old shortcut name. I'm on Win7 Pro x64, installed Tiles version = v1.1 x64.

 

When will this bug be solved, is there any update available?

An internal ticket has been created for this issue and the developers are aware of it. Unfortunately at this time I do not have an estimate as to when it may be resolved.

I guess Stardock is still working on this issue as I had just purchased the software and it still has this problem.  I did find a work-around it though ... What I simply did was create a "copy" of the shortcut of the program I wanted to add to Tiles within the folder of the original shortcut, renamed the shortcut to whatever I wanted to rename it to, then added THAT shortcut to Tiles. I then deleted the "created" shortcut from the folder, but in Tiles, the renamed shortcut remains and works fine.
