How Do I Uninstall Fences On Windows 8?

So, I just downloaded fences on my new laptop, running windows 8, and I can't find a way to uninstall it. When I try to directly delete it, it says that it is running. When I try to use the uninstall program, it brings me to some "Norton Studio" program. Can you perhaps help me out? Anybody at all?

I have Win 7 but it should be the same.

First turnoff Fences in the configure Fences Panel - Right Click Desktop choose Configure Fences and it is at the bottom uncheck enable Fences.

Go to the Control Panel Programs and Features and find Stardock Fences and uninstall it.

Merry Xmas.

How about XP uninstall?  I want to upgrade to v2 and it tells me to uninstall v1 first and I can't find it in the Add/Remove programs, nor an uninstall in the Stardock menu.

Try Revo uninstaller, or another 3rd party uninstaller. They usually see things that aren't in add/remove.

Revo has a hunter mode, which you can use to uninstall via the Fences install directory.

If all else fails, there's ODNT Zapper.

iacobg51, you do realize this thread is ten months old, yes? In any case, Revo has already been suggested, and is a good suggestion, so thanks for the input.

I never installed Fences, or if I did I didn't mean to, I just the animated desktop. Fences now pops up every time I start windows, informs me that the trial period is over and asks for a product key. There is no configure or uninstall option. I don't want Fences, how do I get it of my computer?

Never mind my previous post. I knew the Stardock folks wouldn't leave us hanging....I found the uninstaller in Windows Control Panel. I don't know how I missed it the first few times I looked. Anyway, problem solved.
