Product Activation could not write the activation signature

When trying to register my purchased copy of fences I've received this message several times now. I've tried loading and launching the program as Adminstrator and restarting my computer.
If I hit okay to the first error message it has (at one point) said I have had success but then when ever I try to create a fence it tells me my trial version has expired.

 

 I am now receiving another message that says I have hit the max activation count.

Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated. 

 

  Edit: Not sure if this info is needed but  I am using Windows 8.1

If you haven't done so already then please email support@stardock.com and start a trouble ticket. Stardock will be gald to help you resolve your issues with the apps.

Stardock Sales and Support are open Monday - Friday (9am-4pm EST). Every effort is made to respond to queries as quickly as possible, though emails sent after-hours and on weekends will generally not be seen until the following work day.

When you email support you will receive a ticket number which you can post here in a comment.
