Fences 2.12 Pro is crashing. Running Windows 8.1 fully updated, latest NVidia drivers, etc.
Where is the log file for Fences located?
Best thing to do will be to open a ticket and include our support tool data. It will have the Fences debug data which we can pass to the devs to be looked at.
Please download and run the following utility:
This is a tool that we use to gather relevant log files and basic information about your computer. Once the utility finishes running, please send the .zip file it creates on the desktop to email@example.com
The tool runs successfully, but does not create the log file on my Desktop, even though it says it does. I ran a full-disk search for the file it says it created, and nothing shows up. Any ideas? I'm running Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit.
If you are not seeing the support tool .zip file on your desktop, please try the following.
-Press the Windows key and the r key at the same time to bring up the run dialog.-Paste/type the following into the run dialog: %localappdata%\Temp\
This will open the temporary folder where the logs get placed. Locate a folder called SDSTool. If it exists, zip up this folder and attach it to your email.
