I can't go back to stock lock screen

I installed the trial of Decor8 and decided it wasn't for me. problem is that now my lock screen is having problems. I can't change the background image at all. also when I haven't touched the keys for a few seconds, it goes to lock and I have to re-enter my pw every time. before I didn't have to enter a pw, I could just flick away the screen (I know their is option for this under screen saver but I have that disabled, problem only started with decor8 trial). I have uninstalled, and then reinstalled and uninstalled again. also the Stardock folder under documents has all the different images I have tried to change it too, but only displays the original image I set when I installed décor8.

any assistance is appreciated.

edit: i also just noticed that while the lockscreen is on the CPU runs at full speed. if i let it come on and open the task manager right away it shows the cpu at 100%

The lock screen setting in Decor8 works in the same way as setting a wallpaper would on the desktop.  We tell the OS this is the new image and that's the end of our involvement.

We do not alter the need to enter a password, we do not use any CPU while the lock screen is up (we are not involved in the painting of it), and we do not stop you changing the screen to any other image either via Decor8 or via the OS lock screen settings page.
