Drag to close not disabled in Windows 8.1

I just installed Win8.1 Pro x64 & Start8 1.30 on my machine (fresh install on reformatted drives) and despite setting Start8 to disable the various hot spots, I still get a hand icon at the top edge of the desktop.  Clicking and dragging down exits Start8 and returns me to the regular Windows 8.1 start screen.

I tried disabling the hot spots with Skip Metro Suite without success, and also tried Classic Shell, which does work.  I'd prefer to stick with Start8, though.

Any suggestions for successfully disabling the hot spots?

Are you using multiple displays? If so, I was about to post about this same issue. It will only disable the drag to close / multitasking "hand" on one of your displays since windows 8.1; seemingly at random although I am assuming it just disables it on the first display that initializes.

It worked fine in for me in 8.0 with 3 displays.

Yes, I've got two displays attached.  I also had no problems with this configuration in Windows 8.0.

Please fix this. I'm also running dual monitors and have the annoying drag to close feature on the main display. I did not face this issue on Win 8.0 until I upgraded to 8.1.

Just got notified by the program of a new update and this issue is still occurring after installing it. :(
