Track installs with Revo Uninstaller Pro

I currently use Classic Shell with Windows 8 and like to track every program installation with Revo Uninstaller Pro. However I can't do that when installing an app that must me installed via the Start screen, like Book Bazaar Reader. Will ModernMix allow me to use  Revo Uninstaller Pro to track app installs?

Frankly, I'm pretty confused with Windows 8 and its "App's". Does installing an "App" place entries in the registry like installing an ordinary program? If so, does un-installing an "App" possibly leave entries in the registry and other places on the computer?

ModernMix only lets you run Modern apps in a window.  If Revo Uninstaller Pro was unable to track them without ModernMix then I am afraid it will also be unable to track them with ModernMix.

Even if it were to be able to track them I would suggest against ever using it to remove any 'modern app' registry keys (if they exist) or files as the OS may not take kindly to such actions.  Leave it to the OS uninstaller as it manages the installation and uninstallation of store apps.
