Start Menu Places List Right transparency

guys,i need your help again lol.

my start menu placeslist right transparent removed the inner glow of my image.and changed the entire image to perfect clear.i think the problem is the alpha i added..

and i don't know how to fix this.

the top part and bottom bar have both semi white tranparent but when i add alpha to image in PS and upload to SKS w/checked alpha channel it ended like this.

i want to  leave the semi white transparent,i just want to enable or disable  blur and a perfect clear with PS inner glow effects.

You can disable the blur effect in:

Edit start menu and Taskbar----then for each section, IE: top part bottom bar, programs, places,  at the bottom under extra settings, change from blur to your choosinAlthough, you may have to uncheck the alpha settings. From the image, looks like the glass is blurred on the left, but not the right.Very hard to know exactly what you have changed without the wba to look at.Were these images transparent before you tinkered with them?

So, try anyway to uncheck the alpha box and change the blurr to semitransparent where I described above.

If you altered the images, could take more to correct depending what you may have changed. 8C

Skinstudio can be a little funny with the start menu blur. You need to make sure that all sections are set to semi-transparent/no transparency. Alpha channel check box is only needed if you pre-multiply the alpha prior to importing to SKS in .tga format. I would recommend saving your image as PNG format then importing. SKS will automatically handle the alpha channel for you. If you get stuck you can check other windowblinds such as Galaxus 7 (I made this with a full semi-transparent start menu). :)
