Window Blinds & Desktop Themes

I would like someone to tell me if this is really a problem.
My system is Windows 2000, with Office XP Proffesional, on a Windows 2000 Network.

I have been told that Window Blinds, Webshots (Desktop Wallpaper) and Desktop Themes are really bad news. They eat up hard drive space everytime you change them and create operating system problem? I really like the look of all these software products but will discontinue using if it is REALLY a big problem?

What do yo think???

I have XP PRO and have no problems using these products. I guess if you downloaded every theme on this site I guess you would possible run out of hard drive. I have a 20 gig hard drive and I have about 200 Walls, Logons, Cursors, Icons and Windowblinds with a lot of HD space lefo over. NO problems.

More than likely if you "do" have an issue it will be with your video drivers or a conflict with an older application - this can normally be solved by updating your video drivers and by excluding the app from being skinned by Windowblinds.

Though the best way to tell is to download the evaluation version of WindowBlinds and see for yourself
