Default Windows 8 Skin Template

I am new to making my own skins. Is there a default Win8 skin (i.e. looks as if you don't have windowblinds running)  I can use as a template to modify starting from there, or is that a copyright no-no? I wouldn't necessarily plan on sharing the skin unless i end up modifying it a lot.

When you start a new skin in skinstudio, you will get the template of Diamond from Stardock Design. If you are modding for your own use, it's totally up to you how many images you want to replace with your own.

While I don't think you will have a problem if you upload a skin with a FEW default images in it, I would recommend that you try to make the skin as much your own as possible or it may not pass moderation.

Thanks, I should have stated that I am running windows 8.  Diamond looks a lot like Win7 IIRC, and the Win8 skin looks similar to Win8 but fancier, so right now i am just using the Win8 theme to start with.
