Game wont start after 1 play session

I installed the game 2 nights ago and got about 3 hours in, I loved it. But now it won't start up again. 

I have the most current drivers, I rebooted, re-installed the game, all i get is a really quick popup window from steam, which i cant read cause it flashes on and off really quick. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I tried all the other games in my steam library and am not having this problem...

same thing with me.  just started happening today(I have 300+ hours played)

when i try to start the game i get Elemental: Legendary Heroes has stopped working

I fixed it.

I opted out of the steam beta, after steam reinstalled with the normal client, game works fine.

The first time playing after installation was fine, but now I get a failed to open message for "unknown reason". I checked and I am not involved in any beta according to STEAM.
