Unable to generate wargs for Capitar

I'm playing as Capitar and found a warg resource near my third city. Learnt warg riding and created a warg den. Clicking on it tells me it should spawn a warg every 5 Seasons. However, it's been over 10 turns and I do not see any wargs. The animation in the stable does not show any , the build indicator for the structure does not go towards the right. I've designed a custom unit but cannot train as I get a message - not enough wargs available. Is there a secondary action I need too perform to use wargs? (Or are they disabled for this faction?) thanks..

From your description, especially "the build indicator for the structure does not go towards the right", I would guess that you haven't actually built the warg den yet. It will have been added to the build queue of the nearest city. Click on that city and see what's currently being built. Your warg den is probably queued up behind something else. You won't start producing wargs until it's actually been completed.

Also, if the Warg Den has been built, you should see Wargs in your resource bar. They won't spawn on the map, nor does the Warg Den show how much longer until a 'full' warg is generated, as far as I know.

Furthermore, without mods, the minimum number of horses or wargs required for a trained unit is three, so even after you complete the Warg Den you'll need to wait at least 15 turns before you can train your first unit of warg-riders, unless you have other Warg Dens or purchase Wargs from AI factions.
