raise\lower land bug

I can't raise\lower land and even cast blessing on land at places where city was raized by monster army.  The territory become close to white and is named - city land

So - the land stay city-land and no else with undeletable road connection and no way to see the place for settle new city here - because no availiable titles are shown

Have you tried making the land fertile again with bless land or the death magic equivalent ?

The only way to fix this is to use make a city that overlaps that area then manually raze the new city.  For some reason when a monster razes a city it stays as a city tile versus a plain but when you manually raze a city it reverts to plains.

Building and razing an outpost also works.

Be advised that the tile yields may not be the same as they were before your original city was razed.

Most likely thy will not be the same if it was your original city as around your immediate starting area the land is set to have fertile plains so there is a higher chance you will have an essence available to you.  However once you create a city and settle spots those are converted to city tiles.  Once you manually, or an AI NPC, razes a city city tiles become plains and will only produce food.

Some of this salted earth business can be fixed by giving the tile city some tile yields of their own. Simply put give city yields production bonuses and a little bit grain yield... with a smidge of essence, and then this issue of salted earth will go away. It should provide enough yield if all the tiles around it were city to build a new city in the center. Something like a 3 3 1 type of situation. This I think would be a good compromise for losing a level 2 city or more.

Simple enough fix for the salted earth problem.

I should have been more clear. I meant the city that you initially built at that location, not necessarily your first city.

I believe he was referring to when you settled your city --- say on a spot 4 3 2 yield --- and you lose it to a animal, then you "fix" the area to be settable again with fertile land or some other technique, the tile you settled on the first time around the 4 3 2, is no longer a 4 3 2, but maybe a 3 3 1 or some such.

You are completely correct Parrotmath.  It is not just your first city that has fertile plains around it and you lose those when you settle and then cover them with city spots.

the main problem is - roads

i can't cast spell of blessing on it - and even near doesn't give any effect

death- doesn't know
