[1.0 Bugs-Issues]

Hi!

I just finished my first game with the 1.0 version and here are some bugs and issues.

I'm not sure if all of them are bugs though.

1.Mimbly's riddle quest.I accepted it and failed but immediatey i got the win screen and the reward( the dagger of leech)

2.Endis Steelhands has no spellbooks.

3.There is a problem with the sounds on the world map.Sometimes i can't hear anything.

4.Hardcore achievement poped up and i haven't play for 40 hours

5.Trade treaties bug.A couple of turns after the agreement i get the message that it has expired. And i couldn't see the options on the diplomacy screen.

6.Tireless march is available even if i have a unit with it.I captured a sov with it casted on him.

7.There is also something weird with the battles.

Sometimes the archers will kneel to fire and the sound of the arrows hiting the target it's like  punching.

8.The lairs on Delin's land are empty. Is this normal because i don't remember how it was on FE.

That's all for now. :)

Me too!  Except I got the One.. more.. turn... achievement which is 100 hours, but I haven't played 100 hours (yet!)

This is not a bug, but rather a hidden perk.  When a sovereign surrenders he/she keeps all the spells cast on him/her but without any upkeep.  You can also have more than one per-faction building if you capture an enemy's city with the building in it.

2.Endis Steelhands has no spellbooks.
End of quote

This is not a bug (unless his description indicates that he should have spellbooks, in which case either the description needs revision or he should gain a spellbook or two), and there are several other champions available who also have no spellbooks.

8.The lairs on Delin's land are empty. Is this normal

If by 'empty' you mean the lair guards wandered off, then yes, this is normal. It is normal for most wildland guards to wander off their lairs after the Wildland has been triggered, and sometimes before then.

If instead you meant that you don't get any loot from raiding the lairs, then I would believe that to be a bug.

Does guardian blade work? It says it doubles my counterattack damage, but I don't think it does.

Are you sure you failed the quest? Reading the dialogue there are actually 2 different answers that will leave you with the reward. But I'm unsure if this is intended or not. But there you go...

It does double the counter attack damage. The problem may lie in the fact that counter attack damage to begin with is only half the damage you usually do. Thus, double that and the weapon does as much damage as your weapon currently does.

Is Delin's land the one where you have a bunch of caves that either contain loot or a battle?  Because in my latest game, about halfway through clearing that wildland I hit two successive goodie huts that yielded neither loot nor a battle.  I saved, quit the game, reloaded, and all the other goodie huts in the wildland then behaved as expected.

If that's the wildland area we're talking about, I think that's intentional.  The RNG determines if you get loot, or a battle, or nothing at all.

Delin's land is actually the burning lands.

The pits of Namture is the cave one and there is a 75 percent chance you will get either an enounter or loot for some of the caves, and other caves will always have an encounter or loot.

Of course, you're right.  I couldn't remember the name and since I'm at work I couldn't check.

i got a village thats level 52, taken from a computer player that only has 1 city(never expand), i saw its score(top right corner), so much higher than mine, i have like 10 cities, but still the AI can double my score with just 1 city. so i decided to take over and noticed its level 52, perhaps it level up every season ?

that's probably the wildling city from one of the wildlands. it's failry easy to conquer, so even AI factions can do it (unlike most other wildlands). the viallge has pretty high yields (base yields of the tile plus 3/3/3 or something from the special city hub) but can't specialize, so it probably gains another level every 50 population points (when a normal city grows from village to town/conclave/fortress).

the stats seem impressive, but it's really only useful for pumping out pioneers, since the real power of cities comes from the specialization and the buildings you unlock with it. a village can only have the most basic buildings. i guess the Ai probably used the essence slots of that super viallge for sovereigns call and gentle rain or something, otherwise growing to level 52 would seem almost impossible, even with 8 or 10 grain or whatever.

could be a bug, though. even with a stable growth rate of 5, it would still take about ~10 turns for each 50 pop points and the city would be at 2600 pop at level 52.

Out of curiosity, how did you get that city to level 2 without changing it to a Fortress, Town or Conclave. The only way I've been able to produce a insanely high level village like that is by cheating. The bug you point to is a result of getting to a level 2 village without switching a Fortress, Town or Conclave. I wonder if you reloaded a game right as your city leveled up and that is the bug that is being produced there.

I think when you get a city to level 2 village and don't switch it, then the level up system is bonkers at that point.

Steam has an achievement progress notification feature that we use in LH, for these long drawn-out achievements.  The notification you saw was probably not that the achievement unlocked, but that you were at a certain threshold, such as 50%, towards unlocking it.  The fact that it was still grayed out after you thought you saw it unlock solidifies this theory, though correct me with screenshots if I'm wrong.
