I wondered if they were going to fix this problem or not. If they keep it around may I suggest that they use the banshee texture for their bodies, instead of the wisp one. That way the black goes away and you are left with an outlined character instead. I've done a couple of tweaks beyond that but that is the best I've gotten thus far.

That seems to be a bit better. I'm supposing that they are still updating textures at the moment.

Wisps have bodies?  I'm thinking of the summoned healing wisp unit thingie on the Summoner tree (which can be hard to make out depending on the terrain), but I haven't tried summoning one yet under the latest patch.  If they are supposed to come with bodies, they probably should have an ethereal quality I'd think...

They aren't supposed to have bodies, that's the point, its a bug. I can confirm I'm getting this issue again too in the latest version.

They had actually fixed it in the last couple patches.  It's only in my most recent playthrough that I've seen the headless bodies come back.

I've had the headless bodies in version .85. I've not seen the wisps without the headless bodies.

I can't believe we're not focusing on the bigger issue...

Is it an attractive, female body?

@devs I had a similar issue in FE when working on a mod, maybe it can be of some assistance.

The issue was basically that because the texture was completely empty, the game instead used another texture sometimes. I notice the texture used for the wisp body is in fact empty. Maybe you are seeing the same issue.
