Upgrading From ObjectDock Free to ObjectDock BETA 2.1

I'd like to try ObjectDock BETA 2.1. I currently use ObjectDock Free (which doesn't seem to tell you what version it is).

 

I'd like to try the ObjectDock BETA 2.1, but I need some guidance to do this safely.

 

Can I safely install ObjectDock BETA 2.1 over my existing ObjectDock Free?

Or should I uninstall ObjectDock Free first? And if I have to uninstall ObjectDock Free first, can I preserve all my settings and programs that are on it now? How? (I have copied the ObjectDock ini files to a back up directory

 

One final question"

Does StarDock even offer ObjectDock Free anymore? I can't find it on the website at all.

Not sure if version 2.1 will have a trial version when out of beta or not.

You can purchase the beta here https://www.stardock.com/products/objectdock/beta/download.asp .

The "Try it free" is Beta version 2.09.

In addition to what Hankers said, there is no "free" version any longer.  There is a free 30 day trial, and the full versions price has been lowered to just $4.99.
