ObjectDock 2.1 Beta Error

Tried to install and run the beta I get this error popping up about once every second forever. I have a 3 monitor system. Just want to be sure this is identified and/or if there is a workaround.

Uninstall the older version and reinstall the new.

See if thatworks.

Make sure you already own ObjectDock 2+(Plus) or ObjectDock 2 And not the Free ObjectDock and you are running either Windows 7 or 8.

I´ve solved my problem.

Edit: Very funny, after update my OD is near to v3.0.0 instead 2.1.0. ;)

Hope, i have no problems with the next updates.

same here - they released a buggy installer. Colour me surprised...

I also cannot find the changelog. In another post asking for the changelog a staff member swaid to see the announcement forum, yet there is no suck forum.

I own a few Stardock products (about 8 including games) and although I generally like the software, they seem to screw up every single update installer and the forums are next to useless.

The installer did a number on OD and also my Start menu alternative program. If you got the installer to work, what did you do?

What did it do to OD and what did it do to your start button app?  (What app?)

To OD it did the same as the OP states. Also, when I tried to uninstall, the uninstaller locked up before completing the uninstall. On the third attempt, I was able to uninstall and reinstall the old version.

The start menu program is much like Start Menu 8. After the failed installation of the BETA the start button would not respond. After I was able to remove the BETA and restart the PC it was fine.

As usual the report cannot get thru, it says:

There is a 2.09.1 beta update available from the account page on the store or from https://stardock.cachefly.net/ObjectDock_2.09_beta_setup.exe. This fixes the onSameMonitor crash.

The "start button" on ObjectDock 2.1's beta will pull up Start8's start menu (if Start8 is installed).

Will the "start button" on ObjectDock 2.1 betas (and final when available) also pull up any of the other alternative start menu's out there (e.g. IObit's Start Menu 8, Tihiy's StartIsBack, etc.)?
