I have a Wisp which is supposedly immune to poison which is taking poison damage (which was inflicted via one of the Spit Poison abilities from a Rock Spider) despite having the poison immunity trait. I had not noticed this occurring prior to 0.85.
The rock spider spits acid not poison. It is not a poison damage by the spell definitions. SOoooo, either the spit acid skill should be changed to poison type damage or a clarification needs to be implemented.
Does it say "Spit poison" or "spit acid?" on that ability? If it's acid, no problems. If it says poison, it needs to be changed to acid.
I used the studded collar to control an albino rock spider (they're awesome on your team), so I'll have to check on it. I think it says spit acid.
Even if it does spit acid, though, the affect is just like poison since it damages the unit each turn.
The difference comes in unit that supposedly have little to no blood making it poison resistant versus being affected by a strong acid which burns the skin.
