By the way, it is almost impossible to take screen shot on Win 8 now, because Win key works as 'next city' button ... 

Here it is how AI places two of its cities (not to mention that north of this spot there were excellent spots available - like 10 tiles north). Problem is that they sandwitched my outpost between two cities. There you can see also the tower of witch as first building build in a new city (very strange)

So what's wrong with their placement?  I have grabbed cities right next to AI outposts before to stop their expansion and then taken the outpost later.

 

Now the Tower of the wicth is a poor choice in a new city

Two points: first of all, i could not build cities in those places, they were not available. Second, he basically builds a city on a border, should not be allowed. Third, those cities have not future. I think this game promotes wise placing of cities, not their spam. Even if they take my outpost, there is no reason to build city there. Finally, as i said, 10 tiles north you had 3/5 spot with 2 essences available, and you build two cities there ...

I agree, AI city placement's are horrendous most of the times. Sometimes I just see it pick worst spot with least combined value over spots that are right next to it and have more resources/essence available, usually just few tiles away. This really needs a fix. It hurts AI a lot and it makes me raze every single city I conquer from AI and then settle a new one of my own. Not something that should be promoted in the game, IMHO.

 

Btw, doesn't print screen button work for making screenshots? Its supposed to be in game shortcut and screens are placed in 'MyGames\LegendaryHeroes\ScreenShots' folder.

I've seen the AI place outpost in stupid locations, the only purpose of which, is to block my expansion.

In Windows 8 you use Win+print screen. In game, whenever i press win button screen goes to the closest city (do not ask me why)

Print Screen as the button to take screenshots should be determined by the program itself, not by Windows.  Have you tried just hitting Print Screen without the Windows key and then checking your Screenshots folder?

Nope. I can paste in into paint, but does not save it. Win+printscreen saves it directly to a folder.

Hold on, why would you paste it into paint?

The game has built in screenshot system. You press print screen button in game and then screenshot shows up in screenshots folder immediately. No copy/pasting, need to use clipboard or other external programs.

Just press print screen in game (no windows key or anything), close the game, go to the screenshot folder (I mentioned path few posts above) and check if you have screenshot there.
