Darkling city wildland still bugged.

Deorceane or whatever. Still undefended, still has a tendency to prevent you from hitting "End Turn" after you capture it. Still completely useless after you do own it, stuck as a village, with no upgrades. At least the wildland itself appears to clear correctly now so it's no longer trapped in a sea of green influence.

Going to reload and try to raze it, Verga is stuck in a pathing dance a few tiles away apparently trying to decide if he should attack the undefended city or not, so I have to do something about it.

In the XML there are additions it receives to its bonuses, just not special buildings to pick from.

It gets +3/3/3 to it's yields, which usually makes it like a 7/6/3, but that really doesn't do any good, no reason for it to have food because there's no reason to level the city, and high materials is kind of pointless when it's limited to so few buildings and will never be used as a training city. It looks like it's supposed to gain defenders at higher populations, but I haven't seen that work and I'm wondering if those defenders are supposed to be what you fight for the wildland in the first place.

BTW razing it doesn't allow you to end the turn. You still have to save then reload to get that to work.

I never noticed you couldn't raze it.

Normally, the AI gets it in my games, and I never bother to conquer it.

Perhaps the fact that "its special" but "not good enough" is a problem. If its "unique" and "one of a kind", it should have something to make it "better" than a normal city.

Oh you can raze it, it just doesn't solve the end turn bug.

It's an awesome idea, a special city you can capture, but it feels very much like somebody dropped it in as a concept with little if any testing and forgot about it. Before LH it didn't really matter, it was a weak buggy city but it was better than nothing, now with the global unrest from cities it's not even worth keeping.
