cannot activate

I downloaded this software to try it out for 30 days, i decided to purchase it, i re-downloaded it and reinstalled it, but it will not accept the serial i received in the e-mail from Stardock.

every time i try to start it, the trial for 30 days comes up. i go to the i want to enter a serial, enter my e-mail and password and the serial, but get a message saying there is an error contacting the server, do i want to try it on another computer, i say NO, and restart, and it starts normal ( no trial nag).

I know its only $4.99 but it would be nice if it worked.

There might be something blocking your connection to the activation server. If you have a firewall, you may want to add the app as an exclusion. If you are still unable to activate, send us an email at support@stardock.com so we can work on this with you.

I have already added ModernMix as an exclusion. i even disabled the firewall to see if it would work.

I would recommend contacting support@stardock.com as recommended by Gargabee as they should be able to assist.

I suspect some sort of firewall / anti malware / proxy server is messing with the internet traffic used to do activation.
