Warning message when selecting location of where backgrounds should be loaded from!

Adding the root of a drive would be unwise!

I am getting a warning message when selecting where backgrounds should be loaded in Decor8. The message says Warning! Adding the root of a drive would be unwise. What does it mean by adding the root of a drive and why is it giving me this warning.

The root drive is the one that contains everything else.

Adding it might slow your machine to a crawl.
