Does anybody know why WinAMP's site does not have many WinAmp3 skins on it?? There seems to be a few hundred in other places. Is it some kind of skinners ban against WinAmp??

I think, they are all busy to update their skins for the final version. I think, many old skins made for the alphas and betas crash.

The official storage area for Winamp skins is deskmod, if i am not mistaken, they just hook the two sites up seemlessly. And 3 was officially released about a week ago, actually, when they moved 2.x over to the 'classic' page.

Anyway, thanks for the info. I thought there was some kind of boycot or something and nobodes talking about it.

I also didn't know Deskmod had it like that where they are the offical storage area for winamp. Cool.

yeah, i think it is part of their whole co-branding thing. I hope it works out for them, i'd like to see sights find new ways to support themselves other than banner ads.

The branding thing is pretty nice way to go. For instance the official WinStep theme page on the WinStep site is really deviantart in drag.
