Can't install Free version on Windows 8 Pro

I can't install the free WindowFX on Windows 8 Pro. :(

Any suggestions ?

Are you trying to install WFX5.x or some other version?

Only WFX5 is supported on Win8.

I am having this same issue, except WinFX5.1, not the free version. I also have the appropriate registrations, just after installation nothing happens. It shows running in the background, but that's about it...
