Change the position of the Start8 icon when the Taskbar is positioned on the left of the screen

I have a widescreen laptop. To maximize usable screen height I positioned the Windows Taskbar on screen left. The Start8 button now shows at the top of the taskbar. I'd really like ti at the bottom.
