i can't use my own pictures as my background

i used " select folder " to choose pictures in C:\Users\user\Downloads\pictures , after i select the picture my background didnt change .but if i use the pictures of stardock then it works . my pictures' file name is JPG .can someone help me solve the problem ?

Try shrinking your image down to the native resolution of your primary monitor if it is larger.  If this does not resolve your issue, please place a support ticket.
