Drop file onto Icon

What happened to the ability to drop a file on to one of the OD+ icons and have the program associated with the icon open the file? For example, drop a JPG on to my Photoshop icon and have Photoshop open the file???

I'm thinking the Stardock do not make any update for the ObjectDock, so we must use very usefull, but little buged, software.
