So I wanted to download Windows blinds so that I could apply windows glass onto my pc, the problem is is that the latest version is $20. I tried downloading a older version but it said I had to download the latest version, please help. Thank you.
Note: If you are using Windows Vista Basic or Windows 7 Starter, you will not get Aero. (glass)
Then the answer is NO! You can not come to the software provider's forums and ask for a cracked version you goof!!! What's wrong with you?
Sorry but WindowBlinds comes in only two flavors.....a 30 day trial and the paid version. You should consider what's called ODNT or Object Desktop. You get more than just WindowBlinds. Buying the individual programs can cost a bit of money. Buying Object Desktop is like buying one app and getting five or six free plus a one year subscription and unlimited downloads for a year. That's if you want to go that way.
The person was polite and asked if there was a version that was free. Perhaps a version that generated revenue from ads was something they were hoping for. Either way, I see nothing in their post to insinuate they were trying to pirate a copy.
You are right Carguy1, I'm an A-hole for assuming so...Going forward, I will keep my comments [post's] to myself.

My intention was not to ask for a cracked version, it's just that I'm too young to get a job, and I think that a lot of the binds are really cool. If I had $20 dollars then I would consider buying it. Thank you all for answering.
Maybe if you have a cool relative, friend or parent, they could gift it to you. The software won't harm your computer in any way, Stardock is a reputable, honest company and the forums here are populated with very friendly, helpful folks if you ever need assistance. If the person has any questions, have them ask here in these forums. Thanks for your interest in the artwork created by the WinCustomize members.
Use the free trial and while you have 30 days, show all your relatives how cool it is, someone will maybe see the light and buy you a full version.
Paper route, snow shoveling, lawn mowing, Thats how I made my fortune as a kid. Just suggestions. Maybe cut an alblum be the next star, think hard young one, lots of ways to get cash, legally!
