corrupting graphics of the start button and my quick launch buttons... any ideas? I've excluded UM... but don't think that's going to work for my start bar.

WindowFX should not be corrupting any graphics.

thanks for that! have seen it once before and given it some thought... my ultramon is registered and i have a ton of shortcuts, hotkeys and other customizations, is hard giving it up, but i don't think the authors heart is in it anymore... :'( i really would love a start button on each monitor like Display Fusion has but that's all I know of that it does better. how does DF and stardock get along?
and it figures but I've yet to have my start bar corrupt for taking a screenshot... it must know it's in trouble...
DF and Stardock get along wonderfully. And DF does a LOT more than just manage monitors and taskbars.
It uses the WB skin you have applied. It can manage your logon screen, it can manage your screensaver. (multi monitor screensaves rock, btw.)
You can span a wall over all monitors, or just a diffeent one on each, or even duplicate walls one each.
Check out their site for more info. It does hundreds of things, all with the ability to be used or not.
I'm running 5 monitors, btw. With no problems with Stardock stuff except for WinFX doesn't apply to the monitors attached to my second graphics card.
