Where is the Desktop Tile?

Hello Everyone.

I am not sure if anyone knows what is going on..but maybe the issue I am experiencing is by design.

I am just trialing Start8 at the moment and I have been very happy with the functioanlity of the application (so I will be buying it soon) - I am also evaluating Decor8 as well!

Anyway...I have setup Start8 to be a Windows 7 (with a Win8 Look'n feel) for my desktop. When I click the Start button things come up as normal!

However there are times that I bring up the Windows 8 Start Menu by holding down my CTRL key and clicking the Start button and by design this brings up with the Windows 8 Start Menu.

However, when I bring up the Windows 8 Start Menu I cannot find the "Desktop" tile...it has gone.

To get to the desktop I press ESC, now some people may ask, who cares just press Esc, but I am a visual person, so I would like to see the Desktop Tile on the Start Screen to go back (As I am also using the mouse at the same time it just seems logical!)

Is this by design or has something screwed up?

Any guidance would be great.

Neither Start8 or Decor8 remove the desktop tile from the Windows 8 Start menu.

It sounds like you may have accidentally unpinned or deleted the file used for this, I imagine if you search desktop in the Win8 search you may be able to find it again and pin it back to the start screen.
