Start Menu Colour

How to change Start Menu Colour?

Hello from Canada,

 

First, I was running v1.03 when I noticed the issue and upgraded to the latest Beta to see if it would be resolved. I seem to remember changing the Start Menu color using Start8 when I first installed it over a month ago. Now, I cannot find this feature. The only option I have to change the behavior of Start8 is the "Stardock Start8 Configuration".

I don't want to say it's a bug since I saw no posts in the Forum about it. I would be grateful if someone would help me with this as I have exhausted all personal troubleshooting attempts.

Hi Luc,

I am running Start8 Version 1.1 Beta 2, however I am fairly certain that this option is in Start8 v.1.03 as well: right click on the Start8 start button and click on "Configure Start8..." It opens on the Style column, and looking to the right the ability to change colour is found under "Which theme do you want to use?": you'll see "Disable translucency" to the left, and to the right of it you'll see "Color". Change it to what you desire.

Laurence, you're the man!!!

I misunderstood the color setting in Start8 for being related to the Desktop, not the Start Menu. Since the color of my Desktop and Start Menu were similar, I never caught on.
