[1.1 BUG]Wildland Deorcnysse

I encountered the following problems with the Deorcnysse wildland on the wildlands DLC map:
  • There is no way to finish the quest (conquering the city has no effect)
  • Wildland influence doesn't disappear
  • The city lacks a strong garrison
  • The city level starts at level 30

The last point is interesting, as the city level is apparently a factor in the faction power rating calculation and thus affects diplomatic relations. I don't know if the AI uses this number in its decisionmaking, but it is a potential problem I think.

Ditto:

conquered the city which had no defenders at all

city had 0 research, production, growth

I rushed a monument which extended the zone of control to the same level as a newly founded settlement, but this did not increase production

while the quest had disappeared, the wildland zone of control did not

This post has gotten a few days old but I happened upon a work around by accident that worked for me so I thought I'd post it.  As soon as I took the city of Deorcnysse my game would either not let the turn end (end turn button wouldn't respond but everything else worked) or the wildland would never dissapear making the city useless.  One game when I took the city and the end turn button quit responding I saved my game and then reloaded it.  Once reloaded I was able to press the end turn button and on the next turn the wildlands dissapeared and it showed me as having conquered the shroud (think that's the name of the wildland the Deorcnysse city is in).  Deorcnysse then fuctioned as any other city recently conquered from a rival, high unrest that eventually leveled out.  I have did this maybe five times now and it has worked so far for me every time.  As soon as I take the city Deorcnysse I save the game, go to the main menu and reload and all is well.

Yeah I have a similar Deorcnysse oddities (?) in my current game:

1) I conquered it with a single Scout unit, who slipped past the monster mobs surrounding it in the forest. There was ZERO militia in the city, so it was occupied without a fight;

2) It was a level 14 village. Will it grow to a city of some sort when it hits level 15? I'm not sure, I have not reached that point yet;

3) It has no garrison militia while under my control either (maybe it will grow some when it finally goes up a level?);

4) I had the same turn end bug as described by dwatson3 above, and solved it in the same manner;

5) My faction Power shot through the roof after I took it. All the other known powers in the game have less than half my power and are falling over themselves in a rush to offer me tribute. I've been assuming this is not a bug but a feature? and ...

6) How do you pronounce "Deorcnysse" anyways?
