Pin to start menu does not work

The pin to start menu does not work. Using latest v1.1 beta. Did not work on the 1.03 stable either. Anyone get this to work?

I too am using Start8 v.1.09 beta; however on my machine the "Pin to Start menu (Start8)" feature works as advertised.
