Game runs sluggish on map

Hey everyone. I have a very powerful computer with all my drivers and everything up to date. However when in map mode the game runs very sluggish. Clicking, camera panning, movement and any interactions are very sluggish. 

 

The game is up to date and I have no problems during combat. This happens even at the very start of the game and maintains till end game. Although not game breaking it is beyond annoying dealing with sluggish gameplay. I've changed the graphics to lowest etc. Clearly theres something wrong?

 

My specs

 

Windows 7

INTEL i7

NVidia Geforce gtx 660m

8gb ram

Yes, I had a sluggish gameplay if full map show, but no problem if map wasn't show much and fog in start of game, I think it's had to do with map show to you, uncover black fog, and it's become more of sluggish even it's sliggish tiny map as well if show full of map...at least my case..

Have you tried running the windows performance report?

Windows performance report? I did try closed any program that not need in background by using a task mangers in tab+ctrl+alt+delete (window 7)

The game runs sluggish even from the start. It doesnt matter how much of the map is revealed.

 

I've heard that FE doesn't always utilize all of your PC's ram. WHich seems like it would make sense why it runs smoothly during battle and the paper type map when zoomed all the way out.

 

I have no idea what the performance test is exactly?

I meant the windows experience index base score under performance information.

 

It tests your RAM, graphics, processor and HDD speed and gives them a rating. You will come to know what things are running good and what things are running less good - which may indicate a problem.

Processor is 6.9

Memory (RAM) is 5.9

Graphics is 6.7

Gaming graphics is 6.7

Primary hard disk is 5.8 and all base score is 5.8

Don't forget, the report will not automatically change when your computer status changes. You have to run a new test if you want to see if anything has gone bad since the last test was run.
