Paid version of ODP will not open, reverts back to the free version

Hello all.

I created a ticket for this with Stardock, but have not had an answer in 3 days. so i will try the forum.

I tried the free version of OD.

Liked it, so I paid for ODP.

My first shot at is was good.  It opened to ODP and I created several tabs and was on my way.

I had to reboot for some other reason, and when my system came back up, I was back to the free version of OD.

I can't find a Help/About to check for version # anywhere on OD, but know it is the free version, because when I try and create a tab, it says I need to purchase ODP.

I already purchased it.

I relaoded 'ObjectDockPlus-v201_setup' a second time, but it still opens up the free version.

What am I doing wrong?

What am I not understanding?  Probably something silly I am overlooking

Any suggestions?

And Thanks ...

Bob

This may sound silly but, did you remove the free before installing the paid? Maybe try completely removing and re0install the paid. See if that helps? Support wwill get back to you. At the least, you should have received a auto-reply with a ticket number. Check Junk/Spam folder. Do not reply, until an actual support member replies...Good luck!

My first thought as well. Plus when you uninstall everything run Ccleaner to make sure "everything" is gone...then reinstall it again...that should pretty much fix it. ;)

Not silly at all!

That was what I was going to try on the weekend.
I guess I assumed (therein is part of the problem!) the the new would overlay the old.

I'll do it and let the forum know.

Yes, I did get a ticket number, right away.  Nothing after that.

Nothing in Spam either.

Patience ....

Thanks for the input ,,,

OK, I uninstalled the free version, cleared it all out.

I reinstalled ODP, and it works just fine.

I'm not sure that was mentioned anywhere in instructions, but no matter.

OK now ...

Thanks.

The ticket # was NYL-256-81724.

I just had not heard back on the ticket in the 3-4 days since I posted it.

It can be closed now.

Thanks for the help on the forum.
